How to play

Guess a range, not a number.

Each question has a number for an answer. Instead of guessing it exactly, give a low and a high.

Example: How tall is Mount Everest? You say 20,000 to 35,000 feet. It's 29,032, so you score.

• Answer inside your range: you get points.
• Tighter range: more points.
• Answer outside your range: zero.

Aim for a range you're 90% sure about. That's where the name comes from. 5 questions a day, up to 100 points each.
